The CustomCARE© FSM Microcurrent Stimulator provides all the advantages of frequency specific microcurrent stimulation and is recommended by the modern originator of FSM, Dr. Carol McMakin. Addition of the Magnetic Converter adds significant convenience because it is no longer necessary to apply TENS pads or damp cloth electrodes to the skin to conduct the currents. With the magnetic converter the dual frequencies produced by the CustomCARE© FSM microcurrent stimulator are translated into magnetic pulses which are emitted from the magnetic coils, travel through the air and into the body’s tissues. The price below includes the cost of a health consultation which is required to prescribe all FSM devices.
The CustomCARE© FSM Microcurrent Stimulator with Magnetic Converter is designed primarily for home use. That said, many health care providers use them in their clinics because of their ease of use.
The CustomCARE© unit and Magnetic Converter can be used in two ways (see below). The CustomCARE can hold up to 45 FSM programs that run automatically once they are initiated. The unit must be programmed by a doctor who is certified to do so. The CustomCARE© is manufactured by Precision Distributing and is the unit recommended by Dr. Carol McMakin, the originator of modern FSM (frequency specific microcurrent).
- The CustomCARE© unit can be used with the included leads which are attached to TENS pads or wet cloths (via alligator clips) to make skin contact. Alligator clips are also included with the machine.
- The Magnetic Converter, when connected to the CustomCARE© unit with the provided leads becomes a PEMF-frequency specific microcurrent device. The Magnetic Converter converts the dual channel frequencies emitted by the CustomCARE© unit into magnetic pulses which are transmitted into the tissues through the air. The Magnetic Converter allows treatments without needing to apply TENS pads or damp cloth electrodes to the skin.
This device uses a 9v battery. With average daily use, the battery lasts approximately one month. Battery life will vary depending on quality and age of the battery, how it has been stored and how many hours it has been used. Use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended. The unit displays a battery level indicator and will notify the user when the battery is too low to operate the device.
