iCare FSM-PEMF

The iCare FSM-PEMF is an alternative to standard Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) devices. The same frequency protocols that are used in FSM devices are run through an app on your smart phone (IOS or Android). In standard FSM treatments four electrodes are applied to your skin. This allows the FSM device to pulse microcurrents through your body at the specific frequencies programmed into the unit by the doctor.

With FSM-PEMF via the iCare, the app on your smart phone converts the frequencies into sound (frequencies). When the iCare PEMF coil is connected to your smart phone speaker, the frequencies are converted back into electrical pulses in the coil. As the current pulses in the coil in generates an electromagnetic field around the coil that fluctuates at the frequencies programmed. Placing the coil next to your body transfers the frequencies into your body tissues. The pulsing magnetic field induces the flow of microcurrent at frequencies matching the FSM program on your phone.

Purchasing An iCare FSM-PEMF

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a skill and discipline that requires learning the benefits and effects of hundreds of specific frequencies. Learning the discipline requires an understanding of human physiology and pathology, plus the right and wrong way(s) to use the frequencies as remedies.

For anyone who wishes to learn FSM I recommend the course(s) provided by Dr. Carol McMakin at FrequencySpecific.com.

Only health professionals trained in FSM are able to program and sell FSM units (including the iCare FSM-PEMF) to clients. In order to do so the health provider needs to evaluate the client’s health history, symptoms and current complaints. Only then can the provider prescribe FSM protocols that are appropriate for the client.

Dr. Harlan Mittag first has received training in Frequency Specific Microcurrent through Dr. Carol McMakin’s programs beginning in 2017.  He has actively practiced FSM since then. He makes FSM devices available to clients after a health consultation. The cost of the health consultation is included in the cost of the FSM devices available for purchase at FrequencyMicrocurrent.com.

Setting Up Your iCare FSM-PEMF Is A Two Step Process

The iCare FSM-PEMF can be used with either an IOS or Android smart phone. You must download the “iCare-PEMF” app by James Buchholz from the Apple App store (IOS) or Google Play (android). How to download the iCare-PEMF App and register your account is detailed in the video below. Getting started with your iCare FSM-PEMF is a two step process:

  1. Download the iCare FSM-PEMF app to your smart phone and arrange to pay the monthly $15 subscription fee for the app. Be sure to use the same phone number (Identifier ID) and email address that you provide Dr. Mittag when you arrange your health consultation.
  2. Dr. Mittag activates your account. Dr. Mittag will activate your account using the telephone number and email address you provided. After Dr. Mittag activates your account you will be able to “register” it. He will then send the FSM frequency protocols he has chosen for you to your account where you will be able to access them and run them.

FAQ’s

How does the iCare FSM-PEMF work?
The iCare FSM-PEMF is an app-based PEMF frequency generator.  It creates the sounds (in Hertz) based on FSM frequency pairs that your provider programs for you.  The PEMF pad is a felt pad with two copper coils which, when plugged into the audio jack on your cellphone, transforms the pulsed sound vibrations into an electromagnetic field which, when placed near your body, can elicit positive changes in your health at a cellular level.
What is Frequency Specific Microcurrent?
Frequency Specific Microcurrent is a new system of treatment using microamperage current and the resonance effects of frequencies on tissues and conditions to create beneficial changes in symptoms and health.
How do I learn how to use the iCare FSM-PEMF?

Please watch the Online Training Videos (a link and password will be provided when you have purchased the iCare). The training videos help you learn about how to use the device at your own pace and saves us time during appointments.  You will also be provided with a written “Quick Start Guide” when you receive your unit.  After you have watched all the Online Training Videos and worked with your unit for a few days, please schedule a follow up visit (either in person or telehealth) with Dr. Mittag so that he can answer your questions and advise you how to use the FSM-PEMF protocols he has recommended.

Are there any contraindications to using the iCare FSM-PEMF?

There are a few contraindications. They include:

Pregnancy: As there’s insufficient data on the effects of PEMF on pregnancy, it’s typically avoided.

People with implants: Those with certain implants like pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, or other electronic devices may be at risk of interference.

Active cancer: There’s concern that PEMF could potentially stimulate the growth of certain cancers, so it’s avoided in individuals with active cancer.

Acute illness or fever: PEMF might increase circulation and could potentially worsen conditions associated with increased blood flow.

Epilepsy or history of seizures: Some studies suggest that PEMF could trigger seizures in susceptible individuals.

Organ transplant recipients: Due to the possibility of affecting the immune system and medications, caution is advised.

Can I return the iCare FSM-PEMF unit?
All iCare FSM-PEMF unit purchases are final and the unit is non-returnable and non-refundable. Your unit is new from the manufacturer and carries a one year limited warranty. The cost of your unit includes the required health consultation for prescribing any and all FSM units. The health consultation and process of choosing the appropriate FSM protocols for your health needs is a time consuming process for which the doctor is compensated.

Do You Need A Dongle?

Some smart phones need a “dongle” to connect their phone to the iCare PEMF coils. There are many, many smart phones on the market and this makes it difficult to keep track of the different features and capabilities of each. Never-the-less, we’ve tried to give you some guidance as to whether or not your smart phone will need a dongle to convert the output from your phone into signals that are readable by the iCare PEMF coils. Please use the chart below to determine whether or not you’ll need to purchase a dongle. A dongle is not included with your iCare PEMF purchase.
